Sébastien Buemi wanted to do better

Sébastien Buemi (Toro Rosso), eleventh at the start of the European Grand Prix, finished eighth. Satisfaction? No, not for the Swiss, who knows that he benefited from Mark Webber's problems, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa to be there. In addition, a seventh place was within his reach but the Toro Rosso driver was surprised by Kamui Kobayashi in the last meters of the race.

« It?s not really a good race, explains the Swiss pilot. I could have finished sixth but I made two mistakes which cost me four points. I am happy to be in the points but disappointed to have missed the opportunity to do better. In the last corner, I didn't know he (Kobayashi) could brake so late, I made a mistake locking the wheels and he passed. »

« The team did a good job at the pit stop during the safety car period. But we are under investigation like other cars because of this moment in the race. I found it very hard to slow down, as required by the regulations, because the safety car arrived late and we were approaching the start/finish line. Let's wait and see what the race direction decides. »
