Senna delighted with Campos' work

Bruno Senna was able, this Monday in Parma, to check the work carried out by Dallara on the chassis of the Campos Meta single-seaters in preparation for the next season of Formula 1. The Brazilian saw, for the first time, the car that he was going to pilot in 2010. « I'm pleasantly surprised by how the development of the car is progressing », Confided the nephew of three-time world champion Ayrton Senna.

The Dallara engineering team also took Bruno Senna's measurements, in order to be able to mold the seat he will occupy next season. “ Molding me a seat that allows me to build a custom Dallara, taking into account my exact size and proportions, constitutes a new step forward in order to be present during the collective testing sessions in February. »

Adrian Campos, director of the Campos Meta team, also sees the progress with optimism. “ With each visit to Dallara, the progress on the car is more visible and we begin to see the final result in its real size, having observed the development on a scaled down during work in the wind tunnel. »

Therefore, the boss of the Spanish team believes that Campos Meta will be able to be in time to carry out the winter tests intended for the Formula 1 teams. If everything goes according to our initial plans, we will have at least one car in the Valencia test sessions at the beginning of February and two cars in Montmeló two weeks later. »
