Sergio Perez: “Catching up with Force India”

Having competed for two years in the GP2 Series, Sergio Perez knows the European circuits covered by the Formula 1. On the other hand, other routes are still unknown to him, such as that of Yeongam. Before dreaming of any place of honor, the Mexican will therefore have to set about discovering and learning the track on which the Korean GP will take place on Sunday. But nothing scares the Mexican, who hopes to be able to secure a new top 10, to help his team reach 6th place in the Manufacturers' championship.

?I've never been to Korea before, and I've heard all about last year?s race, Perez says. I always enjoy discovering new places, which naturally happens regularly this year since I'm competing in my first season in Formula 1. I trained on the Korean circuit on the simulator. There are many fast turns that are quite difficult, and it is not easy to learn. I hope we can catch Force India in the championship. »

The Swiss team is currently eight points behind its Indian rival. As for Perez, 15th in the Drivers' standings, he can hope to pick up Jaime Alguersuari, who only has three points more than him on the clock.
