Sergio Pérez finished second in the 2024 Bahrain Grand Prix with his Red Bull RB20. Here is his reaction shortly before going on the podium this Saturday, March 2:

“That's the most I could get today. It was a pretty tense race. I had to manage my tires on the relays. I was sliding a lot, there were some problems with my engine braking, which is not easy because the Bahrain circuit is made up of many slow corners. We will analyze all of this this evening and learn for the rest of the season.

Of course, I'm scoring big points in the championship, it's a great way to start the season. It’s a perfect launch for the team. »

Being 2nd and being able to overcome a possible failure of MV, that's all that RBR is asking of TexMex!
