Simon Roberts promoted to Williams Team Principal

A few hours after announcing the future departure of Mike O'Driscoll from his position as executive director of Williams Grand Prix Engineering, the Grove team is continuing the major maneuvers in its organizational chart.

Following the departure of the Williams family after the Italian Grand Prix last weekend, Simon Roberts, until then manager of the part F1 where he notably supervised technique and operations, will take the role of Executive Team Principal during the open transition period within the British team.

Through McLaren and Force India during his career, Roberts has extensive experience in the day-to-day management of an F1 team.
