Second Grand Prix of the season, and second different winner. After Lando Norris in Australia it is Oscar Piastri, who imposed his law this weekend on the Chinese side confirming the control of McLaren on the set at the start of the year.
Starting from pole position, the Aussie showed great solidity to convert it into a third victory after Hungary and Azerbaijan last year. Overall, Oscar piastri had a fairly quiet Sunday, distancing his teammate Lando Norris and George Russell.
For McLaren, this is the first one-two finish since the Hungarian Grand Prix last season, when Oscar Piastri beat Lando Norris at the end of a race marked by team orders.
As for the Chinese Grand Prix itself, it wasn't exactly a lively affair. Despite expectations, the on-track spectacle was rather poor, with McLaren dominating the race and few real battles. A Shanghai event that, unfortunately, won't go down in history.

Not a crazy race, but we're a long way from 2023 in terms of boredom, if we're honest.

Procession without much interest.

It was absolutely not necessary to get up this morning to watch this race, for which the production did well to show what was happening at the back of the pack, almost forgetting Piastri!
