Soucek “in a dream”

Andy Soucek, after a full season in Formula 2, wanted to re-taste the discipline which allowed him to access the F1 tests in Jerez. Thus, on Thursday, the Spanish driver was in Valencia for the first day of Formula 2 winter testing. But, for Andy Soucek, the best day of the week was undoubtedly Tuesday, during which he was able to climb to edge of the Formula 1 from the Wiliams stable. The icing on the cake was that the Spaniard achieved the best time of the day.

« Tuesday was a perfect day, confirms Andy Soucek, a dream day. I thought I was close to the front, but I didn't expect to finish with the best time. I'm really proud of myself but I have to thank Williams for giving me this opportunity. » If he thanks the Grove team, the Spanish driver won this day on the track, by winning the Formula 2 championship.

« I still can't believe my first tests in Formula 1, continues Soucek. I feel like I'm in a dream! It's been an incredible year for me and I think I deserve a seat in Formula 1 next season. I'm doing everything I can to secure a seat and I think my performance this week will help me in that regard. »
