Stroll admits Ocon's situation is unfair

Lance stroll should soon be confirmed at Racing Point Force India recently bought by his father Lawrence. The current resident of Williams Racing should probably take the place ofEsteban Ocon in view of the surprised exchange between the Frenchman and Sebastian Vettel last weekend in the paddock of the Belgian GP.

“From Esteban's point of view, I am the cause of his situation because my father got involved with Force India. Some pilots have their own ideas of how things should be, while pilots with financial backing will think otherwise. If (my father) puts me at Force India, it's his choice, but I understand that it doesn't seem very fair to Esteban.", said Lance Stroll in The Telegraph.

However, after winning the title of the F3 European Championship in 2016 and being shown on the podium at the Azerbaijan GP the following year, Lance Stroll insists that he deserves his starting place in F1.

“We should know a little more about what I have achieved in the past. I don't deny that the system is flawed, but I more than deserve credit for my financial supports. My father taking over the team could potentially make this team much more competitive. It's not something negative in my opinion.", said Lance Stroll.
