The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix has hosted F1 since 2009, usually with a position at the end of the season. As has been the case since 2014, the Yas Marina circuit will serve as a closing event for the exercise. Departure is scheduled for 14:10 p.m. French time.

This is not an optical illusion. the first three rows of the starting grid will offer an ideal distribution between the two Mercedes (first line), both Ferrari (second lines) and both Red Bull (third line).
You may also feel a certain melancholy, due to the departure of several drivers from the F1 paddock, temporarily or permanently. Indeed, the Abu Dhabi GP constitutes the last participation of Fernando Alonso (McLaren), even if the person concerned refuses to close the door to a return.
Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren), Sergey Sirotkin (Williams) and Esteban Ocon (Racing Point Force India) will also have one last opportunity to shine before heading to the Formula e (Vandoorne) or in the private tests of Mercedes (Ocon).
