Follow the Australian Grand Prix with live text
For the sixth consecutive time on the Albert Park track in Melbourne, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) will start in pole position. The outgoing champion is the favorite to pocket the 25 points dedicated to the winner, especially since the Ferrari were more than half a second behind in qualifying.
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) was also inserted between the Ferraris of Sebastian Vettel et Charles Leclerc in fourth place. His new teammate Pierre Gasly will start from the back of the grid in 17th place after a poor team strategy.

The best French is Romain Grosjean (Haas), sixth on the grid. THE Renault de Nico Hulkenberg et Daniel Ricciardo will aim for points following an average qualification.
The test will begin at 6h in the morning French time.
