Max Verstappen is logically the favorite for the inaugural event of the 2023 season but watch out for the Ferraris. The two single-seaters of the Team will start from the 2nd row, after having revealed themselves during qualifying on Saturday. However, the main threat to the Red Bulls could well be… Fernando Alonso ! The Spaniard impresses with his Aston Martin since the start of the weekend and showed a breakneck race pace during Free Practice. The Asturian Bull is aiming for a first victory in almost 10 years.

The Mercedes will also be keen to come back and fight with the two top teams. George Russell, 6th on the grid, and Lewis Hamilton, 7th, will have to make the most of their W14 to hope to aim for the podium.

French side, yes Esteban Ocon will start from 9th place and can logically claim points, the task promises to be more difficult for Pierre Gasly. For his first race with Alpine, the Norman will start in last place and will have to rely on an excellent race pace – and perhaps on the race facts – to get back into the top 10.
