For the 20th time in his career, Valtteri Bottas will start from pole position, after being the fastest in the sprint race. He is ahead Max Verstappen et Carlos Sainz.

Placed at the back of the grid during the sprint race, Lewis Hamilton made no less than 15 overtakes to finish in 5th position. But, an engine penalty of 5 places places him in 10th position. Before him, we find Sergio Perez, Lando Norris, Charles Leclerc, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon and Sebastien Hag. Note that Kimi Räikkönen will start from the pit lane for the installation of a new rear wing.
