The pilots of Formula 1 meet in Austin (Texas) for the 17th round of the season. After a qualifying session won by Max Verstappen, we will be entitled to a dream front row since the current leader of the championship will have to defend his first place against the Mercedes de Lewis Hamilton.

Sergio Perez placed in 3rd position in front Charles Leclerc. Due to a 5 place penalty, Valtteri Bottas will only be 9th, surrounded by both Alpha Tauri de Pierre Gasly (8e) and Yuki tsunoda (10th). George Russell, Fernando Alonso et Sebastian Vettel are condemned from the back of the grid for having both changed engines.
