For the first time in 10 years, the Paul-Ricard circuit (Var) is hosting a round of the world championship of Formula 1. Follow the qualifying session (departure at 16 p.m.) live with our live text.
The team Mercedes seems best equipped to aim for the front row of this French Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton easily dominated the debates on Friday during the various free practice sessions, before handing over to his teammate Valtteri Bottas during Free Practice 3 Saturday noon.
However, the hierarchy could change due to unpredictable weather. A violent downpour fell on Castellet during the final free session, preventing the drivers from fine-tuning the settings of their car on dry track. Summer temperatures could cause the appearance of a trajectory that is less humid than the edges of the circuit.
