The team Mercedes seemed to clearly hold the advantage before the final training session on Saturday morning. Lewis Hamilton set the best times during free practice on Thursday in the Principality and relegated the competition to more than half a second.

Competition, embodied mainly by Ferrari, has regained momentum, even though Sebastian Vettel made a driving error this morning during Free Practice 3, causing an accident at the Sainte-Dévote corner and ruining a new set of soft tires. Charles Leclerc increased his pace to become the fastest man on the track. The Monegasque will be keen to deliver a top-notch performance at home.
