Mercedes Did she play the bluff card for the umpteenth time during Free Practice 3, Saturday in Montreal (Canada)? Unlike the two training sessions on Friday, Lewis Hamilton et Valtteri Bottas were slower than Ferrari de Sebastian Vettel et Charles Leclerc on the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit.
The significant gap (nearly four tenths for Lewis Hamilton, almost seven tenths for Valtteri Bottas) raises questions, given the ease displayed by the Silver Arrows the day before. So, the one who can announce with certainty the identity of the poleman at the stroke of 21 p.m. French time is very clever!

Behind the Red Bulls, the battle for the position of “best of the rest” will rage, mainly between the McLarens, the Toro Rossos and the Renaults. The Alfa Romeos and Haas seem slightly behind, but this notion is relative compared to the usual slowness of the Williams in 2019.
