Cocorico! La Formula 1 arrives on French soil this week on the Paul-Ricard circuit, in Castellet. After having completed England and Austria, the drivers had a week off before returning to one of the senior events on the motor racing calendar. The 12th round of the 2022 season will welcome the 20 drivers on the grid for the French Grand Prix.

Once again, a duel Red Bull – Ferrari is expected at Paul-Ricard. If the Team was the fastest on Friday, with the best times of Charles Leclerc in EL1 and Carlos Sainz in FP2, Red Bull responded in FP3 with the first place of Verstappen in EL3. The Austrian team impressed in this last test session with a nice advantage over Ferrari.

Behind, it looks very close in the peloton. Only a little second separated Lewis Hamilton, 4th, of Lance stroll, 19th, during Free Practice 3. Mercedes seems to be in difficulty at Castellet, despite the good momentum after Silverstone and Spielberg.

Grand Prix at home for our two French people, Pierre Gasly et Esteban Ocon. The pilot Alpha Tauri has been in the game since Friday thanks to improvements made to the car Italian. On the other hand, it is more complicated with Alpine. Ocon only set the 17th time during the last practice session.
