The first triple-header of the 2024 season Formula 1 comes to an end with the third meeting in three weeks, the unmissable British GP on the emblematic Silverstone circuit, the twelfth round of the year. On the evening of the English event, the halfway point of the season will be reached! The qualifications can be followed live with commentary from 15:45 p.m. on AUTOhebdo.

Q3: 🏁 POLE POSITION FOR GEORGE RUSSELL AT SILVERSTONE! DOUBLE MERCEDES Along with LEWIS HAMILTON SECOND ! Lando Norris aborted his turn, while Max Verstappen managed to move up to 4th place! The three Englishmen are in the first three places! Second pole position this season for George Russell.

Q3 – 2:00: The ten drivers return to the track, it’s “money time” for this Q3!

Q3 – 3:30: ⚠️ On Verstappen's on-board camera, we see that the Red Bull is struggling with damage to his floor. The Dutchman will have to work hard to win a new pole position, which seems promised to the British!

Q3 – 4:30: 🔎 Here is the ranking of Q3 after the first passes! The three Britons are in the first three places!

Q3 – 5:30: ⏱️ George Russell! The Briton sets the best time in 1'26″024! That’s six thousandths better than Lando Norris!

Q3 – 6:30: ⏱️ Lando Norris takes the lead with a time of 1'26″030! Lewis Hamilton climbs to 2nd place!

Q3 – 7:00: ⏱️ First reference time for Max Verstappen in 1'26″350, immediately beaten by Oscar piastri in 1’26″237!

Q3 – 10:00 p.m. : 💬 The first reaction ofEsteban Ocon after the failure of Q1 and his 18th place on the grid.

Q3 – 11:00 p.m. : 🔎 Last year, it was Max Verstappen who took pole position in 1'26″720.

Q3 – 12:00 p.m. : 🟢 We're off to this Q3 at Silverstone! Who will take pole position for the British Grand Prix? Reply in 12 minutes!

Q2: 🏁 It is Lance stroll who eliminated Charles Leclerc in the final seconds of Q2. Note the 12th place of Logan sargeant in Q2, his best qualifying result in 2024.

Q2 : 🏁 It's over for this Q2 with the best time of Lando Norris ahead of George Russell! Charles Leclerc is eliminated with only the 11th time! Alex Albon et Nico Hulkenberg interfere in Q3!

Q2 – 1:00: ⚠️ At Red Bull, it is indicated that Max Verstappen's floor is "significantly damaged" after his escapade in the gravel in Q1!

Q2 – 2:00 p.m. : ⏱️ It was beaten by George Russell in 1'26"766, then by Lando Norris in 1'26"559! The times are freaking out!

Q2 – 3:00 p.m. : ⏱️ Nico Hülkenberg took the best lap with a time of 1'26″847, also on new tires.

Q2 – 4:00 p.m. : ⚠️ Four minutes from the checkerboard, the drivers in danger are: Sargeant, Russell, tsunoda, Zhou and Ricciardo.

Q2 – 5:00 p.m. : ⏱️ Oscar Piastri takes the lead again with new tires: 1'26″945 for the Australian.

Q2 – 6:00 p.m. : ⏱️ Carlos Sainz improves in turn to 1'27″149, while Max Verstappen moves up to 3rd place.

Q2 – 7:00 p.m. : ⏱️ It's the turn of Fernando Alonso to take the lead with a time of 1'27″279!

Q2 – 8:00 p.m. : Lewis Hamilton moves back to 3rd place and Alex Albon to 4th place. The track improves from lap to lap.

Q2 – 9:30 p.m. : ⏱️ Lando Norris takes the lead in 1'27″432, ahead of Carlos Sainz. Charles Leclerc is only 11th after his first attempt.

Q2 – 10:30 p.m. : ⏱️ It was beaten by Alonso, then Piastri in 1'27″631.

Q2 – 11:30 p.m. : ⏱️ First reference time for Albon in 1'27″983, ahead of Stroll and Zhou.

Q2 – 14:00 p.m. : 🔎 All the drivers logically come out on soft tires, while it is still cold at Silverstone, around 13°C in the air.

Q2 – 15:00 p.m. : 🟢 Let's go for Q2 with the green light given at the end of the pitlane! The rain stopped on the circuit.

Q1 : 🏁 Both Williams and Zhou's Sauber are therefore qualified in Q2 at Silverstone!

Q1: 🏁 Both Alpine will therefore start at the back of the grid, with Sergio Pérez inserted between the two Frenchmen. Big disappointment for Esteban Ocon, who was unable to attack in his last attempt.

QIn 1: 🏁 It's over for this Q1 with the best time for Lewis Hamilton ahead of George Russell! Max Verstappen, 11th, was very hot! Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly are already eliminated, as are Kevin Magnussen and Valtteri Bottas.

Q1 – 1:00 p.m. : Verstappen restarts for a final lap... and climbs back to 4th place!

Q1 – 2:30: ⚠️ It starts raining again on the circuit, and Max Verstappen did a lap in the gravel in Copse! The Dutchman is 15th and threatened!

Q1 – 3:00: ⏱️ New benchmark for Oscar Piastri in 1'30″895, ahead of Lando Norris.

Q1 – 4:00: ⏱️ And with slicks, it goes much faster! Bottas takes the lead with a 1'32″431! 

Q1 – 5:00: All the drivers – with the exception of Pérez – are on the track with soft tires.

Q1 – 6:30: ⚠️ Lance Stroll is under investigation for running the red light at the pit lane exit.

Q1 – 7:30: 🟢 Green flag, Q1 is restarted!

Q1 – 7:30: 🔴 Here is the current standings at the time of the red flag. Sergio Pérez is 10th, but should fall in the standings… unless it starts to rain.

Q1 – 7:30: 🔴 The Mexican made a mistake at the exit of the Copse corner. Another mistake for the Red Bull driver, who has had a string of poor performances lately…

Q1 – 12:30: The two Mercedes are in 2nd and 3rd row after the first pass, ahead of Charles Leclerc.

Q1 – 14:00: ⏱️ First reference time for Max Verstappen with a time of 1'37″518, but this will obviously be beaten very quickly over the passages...

Q1 – 16:00: Valtteri Bottas indicates on his radio that a dry trajectory is already forming on the circuit.
