Follow qualifying for the Eifel Grand Prix in live text

In a season impacted by the health crisis, the Formula 1 made its comeback to the Nürburgring for the Eifel Grand Prix. A first for seven years and the 2013 season. After a day on Friday that was simply canceled due to weather conditions, the drivers stormed the German track during FP3 in order to prepare as best as possible for qualifying.

These qualifications are an unknown as most drivers do not know the circuit. As usual, the Mercedes are aiming for the first row but they could be surprised by the other teams like Red Bull or even Renault, in good form during the last Grand Prix.

Behind, the battle should rage between Esteban Ocon (Renault), McLaren and the Racing Point of Sergio Pérez. The latter will be supported by Nico Hulkenberg since Lance stroll, ill, withdrew.

Romain Grosjean for his part expects a new complicated session on his Haas while Pierre Gasly (Alpha Tauri) hopes to reach Q3 once again.
