On this rather particular type of weekend, qualifying in the “classic” Q1-Q2-Q3 format takes place this Friday. Only a free practice session was able to give some fragile indications to the drivers and teams at Interlagos. During EL1, the match was very close between the Red Bull and Ferrari : the top 3, composed of Sergio Pérez, Charles Leclerc et Max Verstappen was separated by only… 8 thousandths! Promising before this qualifying session. On this short circuit of only 4,3 kilometers, the slightest error could be costly as the gaps are tiny. THE Mercedes are not very far, less than 2 tenths from Red Bull. It will obviously be necessary to watch the duel between the Alpine and McLaren as well as the performance of our French, Esteban Ocon et Pierre Gasly.

Huge feat from Magnussen but does that justify a no less huge spelling mistake? “First pole of the historical hour”, I know very well that the situation is serious!
