La Formula 1 is making its comeback after 4 weeks of summer break. The Dutch Grand Prix marks the start of the second part of this 2024 campaign still led by Max Verstappen et Red Bull. The real hostilities will begin this Saturday with the qualifications which promise to be hotly contested between the three-time reigning world champion, the Mercedes and McLaren in ambush. See you from 15:00 p.m. this Saturday to follow the qualifying for the Dutch GP.

16:00 p.m. – 🏁 Norris makes everyone agree and signs the 4th pole position of his career! 1'09"673 for the Englishman who put 0"356 behind Verstappen, dashing the hopes of the Dutch people. After Russia in 2021, Spain and Hungary this year, the McLaren driver will once again start at the head of the peloton. For Verstappen, it is his first defeat at home since the return of Zandvoort to the calendar in 2021. Piastres completed the Top 3 ahead of Russell and Pérez. 15:48 p.m. – 🟢 Let’s go for Q3 in Zandvoort! Who will be the pole sitter for this 2024 Dutch Grand Prix? See you in 12 minutes!

15:40 p.m. – 🏁 Surprise at Mercedes and Ferrari ! Sainz et Hamilton eliminated with the 11th and 12th times of this Q2. They are accompanied by tsunoda, Hulkenberg et Magnussen. Verstappen got hot after deciding not to come out again. The Dutchman dropped back to 8th and was undoubtedly helped by the poor times of Sainz and Hamilton. Gasly and Albon will be there in Q3 just like the two Aston Martin with Stroll 4th and Alonso 10th

15h37 - Things get busy in the pit lane, everyone comes out with those who are temporarily eliminated at the head of the peloton. Only three minutes left on the clock!

15:35 p.m. – 🔎 5 minutes from the checkerboard in this Q2, Magnussen, Gasly, Tsunoda, Hülkenberg and Albon are provisionally eliminated

15h33 - The Ferraris behind the leading group with Leclerc 6th and Sainz 10th respectively 0 and 564 behind Norris

15h32 - Norris temporarily takes the lead in 1'10"496 while Verstappen ranks third but more than 3 tenths behind McLaren! Clearly, the Dutchman is not yet completely comfortable this weekend

15h31 - The difference between new and worn-in tires is obvious. 1'10"505 for Piastri who even beats last year's pole time

15h30 - Verstappen comes out on new tires. The Dutchman seems wary of the rain even though his engineer confirmed that the threat of a downpour is real

15h28 - Sainz is the first to record a time: 1'11"835 for the Madrilenian, immediately beaten by Leclerc in 1'11"665. The two Ferraris were running on broken-in tires

15h25 - 🢢 It leaves again at Zandvoort with the green light given for the start of Q2. 15 minutes on the clock!

15h18 - 🏁 End of Q1 at Zandvoort and it doesn't work for Ocon, only 17th. He is joined by Ricciardo, Bottas and Zhou. 15:13 p.m. – 🔎 5 minutes from time, Hamilton still leads ahead of Norris and Verstappen. Among those provisionally eliminated we find Ricciardo, Tsunoda, Bottas and Zhou. Sargeant is already assured of finishing last since he is not participating in the session

15h11 - Sainz improved with a lap of 1'12"223 but only moved up to 14th place. Be careful not to get trapped

15h10 - Verstappen completes his first attempt and places 3rd, only 0 seconds behind Hamilton. It's very close with Norris sandwiched between the two world champions

15h05 - The drivers at the top of the table set off. Leclerc provisionally takes third place in 1'11"890 while Piastri takes the lead with a mark of 1'11"541

15h03 - 1'13"062 for Hülkenberg, the first to set a time in this Q1

15h02 - Lots of people on the track and the first lap times are getting underway. Hülkenberg, Zhou, Gasly, Ocon, Alonso and Stroll are in action. The main challenge will be to avoid traffic traps and possible red flags. The drivers will quickly record good times to take shelter

15h00 - 🟢 Let's go for qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix! Place in Q1 with 18 minutes on the clock to climb among the 15 fastest drivers

14:58 p.m. – 🌧️ In terms of weather, radars predict a 40% chance of rain

14h55 - 🛠️ It's official, Sargeant will not participate in qualifying for the Dutch Grand Prix. On the other hand, no worries about the race. since Williams is able to rebuild the car. So there will be 19 cars in a few minutes.
