That's it, the Formula 1 is back at Suzuka to compete in the Japanese Grand Prix. After three years of absence, the land of the rising sun gave a warm welcome to the paddock thanks in particular to its fans who are among the most passionate on the planet.

The weather was a little less forgiving for the return of F1 to Suzuka. Thus, the drivers kicked off the Japanese Grand Prix weekend with two free practice sessions held entirely in the wet and under heavy rain. Fortunately, this Saturday, the story is quite different since the qualifications will be contested on a tarmac that is indeed dry after the showers of the day before.
Deprived of pole position in Singapore seven days ago, Max Verstappen is keen to take his revenge, he who can be crowned this Sunday on Honda land. If the title is almost impossible to win, Charles Leclerc intends to play spoilsport in order to further delay the coronation of his Dutch rival.
