Sutil: Waiting is a good thing

The Force India drivers showed convincing performances during the last races. Adrian Sutil missed out on the top ten in Hungary but had previously shone at the Nürburgring, taking sixth place. However, the German remains uncertain for next season, with Vijay Mallya not announcing his choice for 2012 until December 15.

The test pilot Nico Hulkenberg and the Eric Lux affair are all negative points for Adrian Sutil. However, he perceives this expectation in a positive way, seeing possible opportunities in it. “It was already the same situation last year,” he recalls on Autosport. “Waiting until the end of the season is not a bad thing because everything is not done halfway through the season. Some drivers improve in the second part and several teams may want to recruit them. Everything is going so fast F1. One good result and you're a hero, one mistake and you're on the floor. I just try to do my best. »

Adrian Sutil, however, specifies that he still enjoys playing within Force India as he competes in his fourth season with the Indian team. “I am very happy, I have been driving here for a long time and it is a wonderful feeling to win with this team now that we are managing to take points”, adds the German. “We're doing some good work right now. It's not over yet and we can always improve. »
