Sutil confident to take over Lotus-Renault

After putting both Indian cars in the points at the Singapore Grand Prix, Force India protected its sixth position from a possible comeback from Sauber and is now aiming for fifth place occupied by Lotus-Renault GP. The stable ofenstone certainly showed difficulty on the Singaporean urban route but it should still be in better shape for the last meetings of the season.

However, Adrian Sutil believes that the pressure put by Force India could disrupt the British team. “Our chances are pretty good in my opinion, we will have to work on it by staying calm and focused but it?s always nice to be in an advantageous position at the end of the season”, comments the German. “Scoring points and moving up the rankings is probably easier than protecting your place because you get nervous. We saw it last year when we lost (against Williams) for a single point. »

Adrian Sutil nevertheless specifies that this objective will only be achievable if both drivers perform well. “It will be very important to register both cars in the points”, adds the driver of the Indian team. “It will perhaps be a little different at Suzuka because Lotus-Renault will be more efficient than in Singapore. But we still have a chance and we must seize it now. It's a good feeling to see that the whole team is able to fight against big teams. »
