Sutil does not fear Valencia

Adrian, how are you coping with this long break between two Grands Prix?
It's a long and difficult season. The last races were tiring for everyone because we traveled a lot. So I think it's a good thing that we have this summer break, like everyone else. It is important to refresh our ideas in order to be operational for the last races.

How are you going to spend the next few weeks?
I'm going to Bali with my family. I am delighted because it is one of my favorite vacation destinations. I have been there many times and I know the place very well. It?s perfect for relaxing. Then, I will return before Valencia, spending a few days at home.

Do you feel the disadvantage of not being able to do tests?
It?s a little different but not too much. There's a week and a half between races but there's plenty to do around it. You have to go shopping but also other trips. I've been very busy this year, more so than last year, so I don't really feel the difference. And we did not see this absence as a disadvantage, as the new parts developed worked well when they were installed.

How do you see the Valencia race?
I have to say that this circuit is not one of my favorites. Last year, I was impatiently waiting for this weekend because I like street circuits and I had good memories of Monaco and Macau. These are truly street circuits but Valencia is disappointing because the circuit is wide and flat, and there are no real corners. It is not very difficult. Driving is easy, it's straight, with some braking in hairpins. It's not a real challenge, but it can be difficult due to the heat.
