Prices, reservations, F1 show in Marseille: the latest information from the 2018 French GP

The first information regarding the sale of tickets for the French Grand Prix of Formula 1 at Castellet (Var, from June 21 to 24, 2018) were unveiled Tuesday during a press conference in Boulogne-Billancourt (Hauts-de-Seine). The public will be able to access online ticketing from 16th November next. Please note, only the 3-day pass (Friday to Sunday) will be on sale on this date. The sale of single-day tickets (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) will be effective from 15th January 2018.

The organizers are focusing on the 3-day pass, which will allow access to the pit lane on Thursday June 21. Prices will be subject to change “around +20%” after the opening of the ticket office according to Gilles Dufeigneux, the Director General of the Public Interest Group (GIP) Grand Prix de France-Le Castellet. The launch offer on November 16 will allow you to purchase a place in the general enclosure for 129 euros. You will have to pay 499 euros for a Gold pass, giving access to the grandstand facing the stands; 379 (Silver) and 249 (Bronze) euros for the other stands.

In total, 65 tickets will be made available to the public: 50 seats and 000 indoors. “The goal is to sell everything before the race weekend”, explains Gilles Dufeigneux. “The prices are at the lower end of the crowds of other European races such as Barcelona (Spain). »

Holders of a general enclosure ticket will be able to stroll through “three quarters of the circuit”, particularly at the Signes curve, where a mound will be open to the public. Twenty-two stands will be built for the Grand Prix, in five zones : the start/finish straight line, the Sainte Baume sequence, the chicane in the opposite straight line, the Beausset curve as well as the Pont bend, the last braking of the route. Fans will be able to follow the events on a giant screen.

Many events will mark this F1 week; Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône) will host an exceptional demonstration, with the presence of many current drivers and teams, like the show organized in London (Great Britain) this year. The final date will be revealed later. Two concerts are planned at the Castellet circuit, as well as the passage of the French patrol before the event.

10 tickets will be made available to members of the French Motorsport Federation (FFSA) from November 000 to 11. November 7 to 12, 2 first 000-day passes at preferential rates can be obtained by drawing lots on the event site.
