Timo Glock with Virgin until 2014

Timo Glock has been an official Virgin Racing driver since the start of the team in 2010. If the team is still struggling, notably because of the development of the car without wind tunnel studies, the former pilot Toyota has just extended his contract for three more seasons.

“The last 18 months have been quite difficult, although we expected it”, recognizes Timo Glock. “As a driver, I knew I had to know how to reverse in order to move forward better. Now that we are through this difficult period, I can't wait to start enjoying the good times with the team and I know they will come. »

“We will be able to achieve our objectives, in particular thanks to the technical partnership we have with McLaren » adds the German. “We have proven this year that we know how to build a reliable single-seater and with the resources we now have, we will be able to add very good performances. It is just a matter of evolving by making significant progress. »

The future of Jérôme d?Ambrosio was not mentioned. The Belgian's career with Virgin Racing remains uncertain at the moment.
