Toto Wolff: 21 Grands Prix, “it’s no longer possible”

The 2016 season will be the longest year in the history of the F1 with 21 Grand Prix. This calendar was received with apprehension from the stables who fear a certain wear and tear on the part of its members. This is particularly the case for Mercedes F1 with the executive director Toto wolff who spoke to the SID agency.

“This is no longer possible in my opinion. It's just not feasible.", indicated the Austrian. “We may need to hire a second shift to allow staff to recover. We want to get maximum performance from the team and we won't get that if we make them work 365 days a year. »

F1 will travel to Baku for the first time for the European GP in Azerbaijan on June 19 and return to Germany on July 31 at Hockenheim.
