There have been Mercedes, now Aston Martin…Despite an engagement with Red Bull until 2028, Max Verstappen has been getting a lot of attention lately, even if he has nothing to do with it after all.

The crisis that the Austrian team is going through since the accusations targeting Christian Horner has allowed the emergence of theories, some crazier than others, concerning the triple world champion and his future. A few days ago, some rumors in the corridors reported a clause in the Dutchman's contract according to which he could leave Red Bull in the event of the departure of Helmut Marko, at the time suspected of having leaked elements of the investigation concerning the main team.

If the Austrian was exonerated and retained in his post after an interview with Oliver Mintzlaff, CEO of Red Bull, Max Verstappen could not prevent the spread of new rumors in the paddock. Recently, the Aston Martin track saw the light of day, further agitating the Austrian clan, in search of tranquility after an eventful start to the year behind the scenes. But the main person concerned himself took it upon himself to bring a little calm.

« I think there is every reason to be happy, he reassured of F1. The car runs very well. There are so many great people on the team who are constantly pushing for better results.

That's what I focus on. I focus on performance, I'm happy, and when I go home, I don't think about anything else because everything is in place where I am. And it's also the place I want to be. » Max Verstappen couldn't be clearer.
