Lando Norris
Winner of the Sprint

“It was a good race, and it’s great to be back on the top step of the podium, even if it’s ‘only’ a Sprint. It’s a good day for us; the team did a really good job bringing the upgrades here. It seems like everyone says that, but it’s really true, and the upgrades are helping us a lot. It’s hot, and I was still able to push hard, but it was about finding the right balance between attacking and managing the pace. It’s a very good start to the weekend, but we have to do it all again this afternoon in qualifying. We’re not going to make too many adjustments to the car because if it’s working, it’s better not to completely overhaul it! We’ll still make two or three adjustments, but I think everyone else will, and we’ll make sure we keep pushing.”

Oscar piastri
2th in the Sprint

“We still need to find a little something to keep up with Lando, but overall it’s a good start to the day. We’ll see what we can do for qualifying; I think everyone has learned a lot. I hope we can maintain this pace for the rest of the weekend.”

Charles Leclerc
3th in the Sprint

"The changes worked well, and that's thanks to the team who worked very hard during these five weeks off. I'm happy with that, but not satisfied with third place of course; we would like to be higher in the standings." McLaren They've also brought significant improvements, and they've taken a big step forward, but we're not there yet. If we can qualify better, perhaps we can fight even harder at the front. A better qualifying session would make things easier for us tomorrow.

George Russell
4th in the Sprint

"The gap is bigger than we expected. It's not a huge surprise either, considering the improvements made by the other teams." Classic Ferrari for sale McLaren and I have generally said they brought a new car here. It would have been naive of us to imagine winning every race every weekend. We'll try to maximize our performance this afternoon. In Montreal, we'll have our upgrades, and we'll see. I'm surprised the others brought their upgrades here because there will still be a two-week break after Miami. The idea is that we bring our upgrades to races leading up to others. But there you have it, that's how it is. (Canal+)

Lewis Hamilton
7th in the Sprint

"It wasn't great! I was hoping to be able to go back up, but it wasn't possible today."

Pierre Gasly
8th in the Sprint

“The car doesn’t really suit me any better than yesterday, but I’m happy because we were able to secure eighth place, which, on paper, was going to be the best possible result. I managed to get a good start, position myself well, and after that it was quite a solitary race! We’re still having a lot of difficulties with traction, so we’ll try to improve that for qualifying this afternoon.” (Canal+)

Isaac Hadjar
9th in the Sprint

“It’s difficult to say in conditions where we have less fuel and more tire degradation. We’ll see this afternoon if we’ve done a good job or not. For now, it’s the same car as yesterday. It’s a shame to have had such a bad start; we’re really struggling with the procedures. If we had managed to correct that, we would have scored a point in the Sprint; it’s a pity.” (Canal+)

Franco Colapinto
10th in the Sprint

“Overall, I lacked a lot of rear grip; I was sliding a lot. The rear tire pressures were very high. I had no grip on the rear axle, so acceleration was very difficult as well. We'll need to continue working before qualifying and try to sort out the problem.”

Gabriel Bortoleto
11th in the Sprint

“Honestly, that was our pace. It was very difficult to catch the cars in front, Isack and the AlpineIt seems that the Alpine They were quite strong and they put ten seconds on us. I settled into a comfortable pace and had an eight- to nine-second lead over the Haas I think so. It was a rather boring race; the first lap was fun with several overtakes, but otherwise I just stayed there, managing the tools at my disposal and the tires.

Esteban Ocon
12th in the Sprint

“Someone lost something up front and Ollie ran over it, but we were lucky, neither car was damaged, so that was a good sign. I think I narrowly avoided that part. It was a difficult race; we're lacking a bit of performance. We need to see what we can do better this afternoon. We'll try to qualify better, for starters, but for now, points are a bit of a long way off.” (Canal+)

Oliver Bearman
13th in the Sprint

“I was really struggling with the rear end, especially in the high-speed corners. This circuit also has a lot of areas where traction is crucial, and I was having a lot of difficulties. It was a real fight just to stay on track, and we have some work to do before qualifying. We had some ideas before the sprint race, and this race has proven to us that the direction we're going in is probably the right one.”

Liam Lawson.
15th in the Sprint

“It wasn’t too bad, I think. We had a problem with power in the first six or seven laps, so I was getting overtaken without stopping before turn 17. I was losing a position every lap, and once we sorted that out, it wasn’t too bad. We still clearly have some work to do to get back to the top 10 guys; we’re not fast enough for that at the moment.”

Fernando Alonso
16th in the Sprint

"Race after race, the engine is improving. We were able to finish the sprint race without any problems with our hands or bodies, which is a step forward. The level of competitiveness is still not good; we started at the back of the grid and battled against the Cadillacs. At least we finished ahead of them, but we'll have to find something better for this afternoon."

Sergio Pérez
17th in the Sprint

“We were racing! I was able to overtake in the first few laps, but we were on hard tires, and I think we paid the price. We were sliding too much at the rear; we thought it would be the right choice, but it wasn't. We need to work on that. I think we need to work on tire degradation, and since we were the only car (the Cadillac) on hard tires, we could see it wasn't the right choice. We'll learn a lot from this, and I'm looking forward to the rest of the weekend. We look more competitive, so we'll see what we can do in qualifying.”

Alex Albon
19th in the Sprint

“We were coming back well, moving up through the field, but we like to make pit stops during the race, we continued the tradition! We try to learn from our upgrades; we spotted something on Friday that wasn't very good on the car, and we wanted to compare before qualifying.”

Valtteri Bottas
20th in the Sprint

"It was a tricky sprint for me; I had a lot of problems with my rhythm and I was sliding a lot, right from the first lap. We're far back, and I think something's wrong; we'll have to see what."

Nico Hulkenberg
Non-starter

"I think you saw what happened on camera! We had a problem, I don't have any details yet, it's not great but we don't expect any issues or delays before qualifying, so we'll just get back to it!"
