Toyota is here

This Friday, it was primarily thanks to the rain that Jarno Trulli was able to record the best time during the first free practice session. But during the afternoon session, the two cars were able to climb into the Top 7, with a good second place for Timo Glock. This Saturday morning, the two men once again distinguished themselves at the forefront. If the German, in the Top 3 for most of the third session, finished in fifth position, Jarno Trulli was in second position at the end of the session. “ I have a good feeling with the car, confided the Italian in the paddock. I hope we can be competitive this weekend. We have good balance and the car responds well. »

For his part, Timo Glock was also optimistic heading into this important day for Toyota. “ I was happy to be second in the afternoon session, said the German pilot. The car is quite good and the lap times showed it. I'm happy with how things have gone so far. » For the qualifying session, Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock will aim to reach Q3, a performance they have not achieved since the British Grand Prix at the end of June.
