Toyota is not reassured

Des deux pilotes Toyota, c?est Timo Glock qui est le moins optimiste. Rarement chanceux cette saison, l?Allemand ne commence pas sur de bonnes bases son week-end catalan. « It was not a good day for me. I experienced problems with the behavior of the tires in both sessions, without knowing precisely where the problem was coming from. We now have to work hard on data analysis to be better in qualifying. I am not satisfied with how the day went but we are not going to give up. We will do our best to find a solution. »

Not really happier, Jarno Trulli takes things with more detachment. Second in the first session, the Italian only set the eighteenth fastest time in the second session but recognizes that there is important testing work to be done on the track. “ It was a traditional Friday, where we had to test the tires and the developments of the car. This will allow us to better approach the qualifications. We also worked to understand the strategy to adopt with the tires at our disposal. »

The Italian driver also discusses the behavior of his Toyota, with which he is not entirely satisfied. “ It is not perfect. It needs to be better balanced so that I enjoy driving it. That said, the track should be very changeable over the weekend so I'm not very worried. » Very comfortable in qualifying, Jarno Trulli hopes to fight for a good place on the grid.
