Toyota will review its procedures

The Toyota team has accepted the decision of the Australian Grand Prix stewards. The cars of Timo Glock and Jarno Trulli were downgraded after qualifying. Both drivers will start from the last row tomorrow.

The Cologne-based team has been informed that the rear wing of its TF109s showed "extreme flexibility" during testing for the Australian Grand Prix.

According to Toyota, ces ailerons « ont passé des tests mis au point pour reproduire le double de la charge officielle ». Les procédures vont donc être revues et le processus de production va être réévalué.

The team also promises to modify the offending components overnight in the hope that these modifications will not result in a drop in performance.
