After a career in karting started at the end of the 1990s and during which he won the British and world championships, Oliver Oakes decided to launch into car in 2005. In 2006, he had a great first campaign in Formula BMW Great Britain with Carlin, finishing 6th in the championship with 4 podiums including 1 victory and 2 pole positions.

Shine wrongly, an obligatory member of the Mazepins... it smells of probity! If Renault doesn't sell very quickly, there will be defections from the legal department... So Toleman-Benetton-Renault-Lotus-Renault...and soon what name for Enston? Ted Toleman hadn't imagined all this...

An arrival in F1 thanks to "Il Magnifico" Flavio, prelude to a long-term resale ofAlpine F1 - and therefore from Enstone finally rid of Viry-Châtillon - to a new entrant in F1? It would not be surprising because he was involved in the Hitech F1 application file for 2026 with a wealthy oligarch from Central Asia. A potential “Horner encore”!!
