Trulli with Abruzzo

Jarno, how do you feel about your car? Are you satisfied with your current level?
I believe the Toyota a bien été développée pendant l?hiver.

What developments do you expect?
We have a lot of new features here, like front and rear spoilers. We work tirelessly. It is true that we asked ourselves questions about the outcome of the broadcasters' affair, but we are satisfied with its outcome.

In Sepang, you qualified on the front row and the team achieved a podium finish. Do you think you will be able to compete with Brawn GP?
We cannot take the Malaysian GP result as a reference. This race was not completed and it was affected by many external elements. I don't believe that the first two races can set the pace for the entire season. We are not very far from the Brawn and it is certain that we are in the three best teams in the field. As I said there is still work, but our engineers know in which direction to work. What is certain is that we prefer to be second in the championship than fourth or fifth like in previous seasons!

This circuit has never been very successful for you?
It does not matter ! With the team, we will do our best this weekend. I hope to achieve a good result here, especially because my suit sports the colors of operation ?Abruzzo in the heart?. As you know, part of Italy is in a dramatic situation after the earthquake and I want to help these people. I therefore removed the logo of one of my partners for the benefit of this one, in order to give them visibility and raise funds. I'm going to ask the GPDA drivers, the teams, everyone to help me. It?s not just a question of money, I also want to encourage everyone to give necessary things to the people of Abruzzo.

Can you tell us more about Abruzzo?
We all saw what happened on television. After realizing the scale of the disaster, I told myself that I had to do something. Nearly 300 people died, which is probably not a lot compared to the violence of the earthquake. But there are no more towns or villages. Everything collapsed. More than 100 people find themselves with nothing. No home, job, family? I haven't been there yet because of our schedule which takes us away from Europe for many weeks. I will go as soon as possible. I am from Abruzzo, but this disaster goes beyond Italy. As I travel around the world, I think it?s important to show everyone what happened there. It is not very different from the tsunami.
