After a complicated qualifying session for Daniel Ricciardo, McLaren made the decision to change engine elements on the car from the Australian. The winner of Monza will therefore start in last position in the Turkish Grand Prix this Sunday, at 14 p.m. French time. Carlos Sainz et Lewis Hamilton were also penalized for engine element changes.

The former pilot of Red Bull et Renault mentioned traffic to explain his poor performance on Saturday: “ If you had a magic wand you would probably want to be the last one to cross the line and there would probably be some free time at that time so we couldn't plan any of that. There was often yellow flags in turn 1 to stop the lap, then you get out of sync and we couldn't get a handle on the changing conditions. There's no big sad story here. »
Ahead of today's race we've made the decision to replace four components on Daniel's power unit.
