Lewis Hamilton will become increasingly committed to promoting diversity in motorsport. The world champion F1 in title, seen last weekend in Hyde Park in London in a demonstration of the Black Lives Matter movement, confirmed the upcoming launch of a Hamilton commission to improve diversity in different competing fields.
Went down to Hyde Park today for the peaceful protest and I was so proud to see in person so many people of all races and backgrounds supporting this movement. It was really moving. I'm feeling extremely positive that change will come, but we can't stop now. #blacklivesmatter pic.twitter.com/koOTEPOXAh

“I fought against the stigma of racism throughout my career – kids throwing things at me karting, to the jeers of blackface fans at a Grand Prix in 2007, one of my first Formula 1 races, comments the pilot Mercedes in the Sunday Times.
Despite my success in the sport, the institutional barriers that have kept F1 very exclusive persist. It is not enough to refer to me, or to a new black pilot, as a significant example of progress. Thousands of people are employed in this industry and this group needs to be more representative of society. »
Lewis Hamilton plans to launch his initiative in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Engineering, to promote technical education and training in the field of competition.
