A first in F1 for Quaife-Hobbs

The Briton, current driver of Marussia Virgin Racing in the GP3 Series, rode for the first time in a F1, in order to carry out tests on the new package put in place by Vigin Racing in Turkey and collect valuable data to prepare for the Spanish GP which will take place this weekend in Barcelona.

The 20-year-old covered 146 km at the wheel of the MVR 02. Although testing was limited in a straight line, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs is delighted with his experience. “ It was an incredible day for me. Driving an F1 is what you have always dreamed of as soon as you start kart racing. I completed many runs and helped collect a lot of data », Comments the Briton.

« I really thank Marussia Virgin Racing for offering me this incredible opportunity, which allowed me to gain experience and see how an F1 team works. These experiences are very motivating and it?s exciting to be able to taste what the future may hold », adds the Briton.
