USF1 lied to Jose Maria Lopez

Jose Maria Lopez, first driver announced by USF1, is angry with the stillborn team for having hidden from him the multiple financial problems which were undermining its development. After several months of questioning, USF1 ended up giving up participating in the World Championship of Formula 1. Jose Maria Lopez is angry with those in charge, who only announced this decision to him very late.

« I'm glad I had this opportunity but they put me and the people working with me in an awkward situation, he confides to Speed TV. We often asked them if it was going to happen in the end.
