Valtteri Bottas wants to stay at Williams

Since the start of the season, Valtteri Bottas holds the position of third pilot at Williams. This allows him to take the wheel of the FW34 during most of the Friday morning free practice sessions in order to perfect his learning of the Formula 1 with a view to a possible entry in the Grand Prix on behalf of Frank Williams' team. GP3 Series champion in 2011, the Finn impresses by being as efficient as Pastor Maldonado during each of his appearances, but his objective is to secure a long-term drive at Williams.

« It's good to be able to get close to Maldonado and beat him sometimes, but I know I can do even better if I drive more, explains Bottas to GP Week. I really enjoy working with the people at Williams, the team has a great history. I feel at home. The idea is to stay here and hopefully have a long career with Williams. »
