Van Der Garde and Rossi testing at Caterham

The two drivers will share the wheel of the car over the three days of sessions planned. The first two will be reserved for Van Der Garde, who will have had the opportunity to take charge of the car previously : “By the time I arrive in Abu Dhabi, I will have had a few free practice sessions, and it will be good to work two full days with the car. We will have very busy days ahead but I intend to learn as much as possible and help the team as best as I can, with two races to go until the end of the season. I have benefited enormously from working with the team this season, whether in F1 or in GP2, and this test session in Abu Dhabi is a great opportunity for my career as a professional driver. »

For his part, Alexander Red, will take over for the last day of testing: ?I?ve had a good year with the team as a test driver, and after the free practice session in Spain at the start of the season, it?s another chance to gain experience behind the wheel of a F1. Especially on a circuit that I know well. For Abu Dhabi we will have a lot of work and discussions with the engineers, but I feel comfortable behind the wheel of the CT01, and I feel very well prepared mentally and physically.
