Vatanen reveals his team

Ari Vatanen, the first to declare himself a candidate to succeed Max Mosley at the head of the FIA, takes action. After Jean Todt revealed the composition of his team, the Finn followed suit. Ari Vatanen thus presents the Spaniard Fernando Falco y Fernandez de Cordova as candidate for the presidency of the FIA Senate. The German Hermann Tomczyk, in charge of sport at ADAC, will be proposed as deputy vice-president for motorsport. Bernard Tay, from Singapore, will be in charge of mobility, also as vice-president.

With this team, Ari Vatanen thus composes a team combining experience and rupture, in order to offer a credible alternative to Jean Todt, who is more in line with Max Mosley. “ Together we can make the changes needed to make the FIA more transparent, more efficient and more competent to increase benefits to its members, says Ari Vatanen. Now the time for change has come, and together we can achieve this goal. » The election for the presidency of the FIA will take place at the end of October. Until then, Jean Todt and Ari Vatanen will activate their networks in order to gather as much support as possible. It is during this phase that everything will be decided between the two men.
