Towards team instructions at Mercedes?

As in Belgium in 2014, as in Spain earlier in the year, Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg made contact on the last lap of the Austrian Grand Prix this Sunday afternoon. A clash which turned to the disadvantage of the German, then leader but ultimately fourth under the checkered flag, and placed under investigation by the commissioners.

A new episode in the internal war at Mercedes which failed to provoke the reaction of Toto wolff. “It was stupid, said the Austrian on Sky Sports. It could have been a double abandonment.

It seems that talking doesn't do much for us, so we need to think about all the possible solutions and maybe go as far as the application of team instructions which are not very popular. It's now on the table. We're going to talk, because maybe that's the only way to handle the situation. »

Mercedes has regularly reminded that it does not want to impose instructions on its drivers, to leave room for sport on the track.
