Pending official confirmation, everything suggests that the RB21s of Max Verstappen et Yuki tsunoda will not display the traditional colors of Red Bull at the Japanese Grand Prix next weekend (April 4-6).
For the past few days, the Austrian team has been having fun on its social media with a sort of treasure hunt with its followers. It all started a few days ago when the Red Bull communications team changed its profile picture to an all-red logo on a white background, while adding its name in Japanese.
That was all it took for the first comparisons to be made with the livery used during the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix. A decoration that made an impression and that fans remember, many of them repeatedly calling for its return. At the time, the Milton Keynes team had wanted to celebrate the end of its partnership with Honda with this special livery, but in Japan. However, the cancellation of the round at Suzuka due to the coronavirus pandemic forced it to fall back on the Turkish event.
And after nearly 4 years, this white livery in homage to Honda could, and even should, make a comeback if we are to believe Red Bull's publications on its social networks. First there was this change of visual identity on its accounts before a publication of the RB16B (used in 2021) running with the famous livery. Finally, the mention "coming soon" (soon) on a visual of a white garage in the last post seems to confirm the trend to the delight of fans.

As a reminder, this 2025 season definitively marks the end of the collaboration between Red Bull and Honda, with the Austrian team turning to Ford from 2026.

If we're going to celebrate the end of the partnership with Honda, we might as well do it at Suzuka, Honda's home ground, with a special livery, especially at the time when Honda will be slipping its kit into the second RB21. This is an excellent commercial opportunity for Red Bull and Honda, who should therefore see their merchandise sales explode at Suzuka!
