Will we see Sergio Perez on the starting grid again? While the door is definitely closed for 2025 even though the season has just started, the Mexican doesn't seem to be finished with the Formula 1.

Dismissed after four years in the colors of Red BullBetween ups and downs, Checo is enjoying his free time at home in Mexico and a life he says he is almost discovering now that he no longer has to keep to his racing commitments and travel around the world for Grand Prix races. However, it seems that this daily routine is missing for the man with 6 victories who could be preparing for his return in the short term.

Recently, his name has been linked to the arrival of Cadillac next year. As the American manufacturer prepares to form its driver lineup for the start of its new project, Sergio Pérez ticks many boxes, including that of the experienced driver it would need for this challenge. So, would the Guadalajara native be ready to put on the suit and helmet again after a year's break?

« I am six months old, he explains in an interview with Prodynamics. I'm giving myself these six months to see what opportunities I might have and decide what the next step in my career will be.

I'm lucky to have had this career so far, so I know there are doors open in many places. I'll make a decision in six months. I have the opportunity today to decide what I want to do with my career.

What happens will be very important so I want to give myself the time and space to make the best decision.. » The one that will allow him to return to Formula 1?

Decide in September 2025? Is he waiting to see and drive the 2026 Cadillac before making up his mind? I'm not sure other potential candidates will wait that long to sign a contract!

Why not Sergio would be a good choice for a lot of teams, let's be honest Cadillac wants the South American market and then we know that for 2024 it's Red-Bull who ruined him.
