Verstappen assures he has not made a decision for 2026

This was the main topic of discussion this Thursday at Silverstone. Following an article published by Sky Sports Italia announcing an agreement between Max Verstappen et Toto wolff to join Mercedes In 2026, the Dutchman was mobbed by the press on site, looking for a reaction.
Unsurprisingly, Verstappen denied having reached any agreement with the Silver Arrows. There is no decision at the moment, did he declare, quoted by RACER. 2026 is not my concern. Lately I find that things have been reversed at Red Bull, Max is calm and serene and doesn't accuse Antonelli and on the other hand Horner and Helmut get angry.

There's a big difference between "no decision has been made" and "I'm staying loyal to Red Bull" (which was his message a few months ago). This doesn't mean that his departure is a done deal, but that he's thinking about it, and that RBR isn't sure they'll keep him.
