Max Verstappen becomes a father before the Miami Grand Prix

Shortly after the fourth world champion title won by Max Verstappen Last December, the couple announced on social media that they were expecting a happy event. Since then, many pilots have expressed their joy for their counterpart. Lewis Hamilton, his great rival on the track at the beginning of the decade, had been among the fastest. For his part, George Russell and Nico Hulkenberg – the only father on the grid before today – expressed doubts about a possible drop in the Dutchman's level due to this happy news. On their social networks, Kelly Piquet and Max Verstappen announced the arrival of little Lily. “Welcome to this world, sweet Lily. Our hearts are fuller than ever; you are our greatest gift. We love you so much.” can be read under the family photo.
A father for the first time at 27, Max Verstappen will be present for the remainder of the weekend in Miami, according to his management. Certainly relieved and fulfilled after days of emotion, the Dutchman is already expected to take to the track this Friday.
