Max Verstappen dominates the 3rd and final free practice session of the Sakhir Grand Prix. The pilot Red Bull completes the 3,543 km of the outer track of the Bahrain International Circuit in just 54 seconds.
The Dutch precedes Valtteri Bottas (+ 0”206), which recovered well after a messy Friday at Mercedes. Pierre Gasly completes the Top 3 at the wheel of his Alpha Tauri (+ 0''363).
Nice group shot from the French, since Esteban Ocon (Renault) stands out again at the forefront with the 4th time (0”389), ahead of Lando Norris and McLaren.
Alexander albon (Red Bull) follows in 6th position, while George Russell has a more discreet session than his convincing debut yesterday with Mercedes. The British hope must be satisfied with the 7th mark, ahead of the Racing Point of Sergio Pérez and Lance stroll. Carlos Sainz (McLaren) concludes the first half of the table with the 1th fastest time.
New delicate session for the Team Ferrari: Charles Leclerc is only 13th, while Sebastian Vettel must be satisfied with the 15th time. The German also had to shorten his session by 15 minutes due to an engine problem and will have to change power unit between now and qualifying.
At the bottom of the ranking, we find the Haas and Williams, the holders Kevin Magnussen (17e) and Nicholas latifi (18th) logically getting the better of their rookie teammates Pietro Fittipaldi (19th) and Jack Aitken (20th).
