Verstappen still in the lead at Barcelona

Max Verstappen (Red Bull) continues to shine on the Catalunya circuit where he won the Spanish Grand Prix last Sunday. The Dutchman set the best time of the morning of the second day of testing with a time of 1'23''267, four hundredths of the benchmark set the day before by Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari).

Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren) is the closest with more than seven tenths behind, while Daniil Kvyat (Toro Rosso) follows by more than a second.

Pascal Wehrlein (Mercedes), who replaced at the last minute Esteban Ocon in order to test new elements on the W07 Hybrid, rose to fifth place between Kevin Magnussen (Renault) and Esteban Gutiérrez (Haas).

The session was only interrupted for a few minutes due to debris coming from the car by Jordan King (Manor).
