Verstappen: 'I'm fed up'

Max Verstappen had the best start of the Grand Prix, going from 5th place on the grid to 2nd place at the first corner despite a collision with Sebastian Vettel. But a battery failure forced him to retire on the eleventh lap of the race.

« At the moment I'm a little fed up, annoys the Dutchman. I do my best to come back in great shape every weekend and start from scratch, but a lot has happened lately that I don't like. »

This is the third retirement for Max Verstappen after a brake problem in Bahrain and a collision with Kimi Räikkönen in Spain. In addition, he is left behind by his teammate Daniel Ricciardo which is in a series of three 3e consecutive places.

« I imagine that's also part of motorsport but I can assure you that it really doesn't make me happy at the moment. »

Max Verstappen is now 6e in the championship with 45 points, 22 points behind Daniel Ricciardo and only one point ahead of Sergio Pérez.
